What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a natural, preventative healthcare profession focused on addressing the root cause of health issues, not just the symptoms. Over 25 million people take care of their health through consistent chiropractic care every year, making it the largest holistic healthcare choice in the world.

The root cause of the majority of health issues, diagnoses, pains & symptoms can be found in the nervous system — your brain, spinal cord & nerves. The nervous system controls every single body function. We live our lives through our nervous systems! Blockages in this system prevent the body from adapting to physical, chemical and emotional stress. Left unadjusted, these stresses build up over time and result in poor health & a poor quality of life. The chiropractic adjustment removes the neurological stress that prevents us from expressing optimum health. Once removed, the nervous system can adapt and natural healing from its root cause can begin.

Francisco Turelli, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic · Family Wellness Specialist

Francisco Turelli was born in Córdoba, Argentina. He graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in the United States, and is fluent in both Spanish and English. Francisco specializes in chiropractic techniques such as Thompson, Torque Release Technique (TRT), SOT, Full Spine Diversified and Toggle Recoil. His education is focused on providing care to all members of the family, including parents!

Francisco is a professor of Thompson and Toggle techniques at the Barcelona College of Chiropractic. He is also a member of the Spanish Chiropractic Association (AEQ).

Francisco grew up seeing how chiropractic changed people's lives in his parents' office in Argentina. Francisco's passion is to help as many people as possible function at 100% by making sure their nervous systems are free of interference. He especially enjoys working with young entrepreneurs who need to be healthy and have high-functioning bodies and brains to fulfill their dreams. He understands the importance of chiropractic in helping people adapt to day-to-day life stressors to improve their quality of life.

Kelli Turelli, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic · Prenatal & Pediatric Specialist

Kelli Turelli was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is an English-speaking chiropractor in Barcelona, Spain. She decided to become a chiropractor the day she received her first adjustment after suffering from acid reflux, digestive issues & menstrual cycle dysfunction due to chronic stress in her teens. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, as well as her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in the United States. She specializes in preconception, prenatal, and pediatric wellness care.

Kelli is the author of The Greatest Thing: A Chiropractic Children's Book, published on Amazon. Her vision is to communicate the hope of chiropractic to kids so they can easily understand how powerful and perfectly their bodies were created! Kelli receives extensive training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Steve Williams Pediatrics, The Pediatric Experience, Bio-Geometric Integration, and Epic Pediatrics.

Kelli believes the health and futures of kiddos can be drastically changed through chiropractic care. Even more impactful if mom is getting adjusted while baby is developing!

Adriana Marin Passeyer

Chiropractic Assistant (CA)

Adriana was born in Costa Rica; she is half Costa Rican, half German. She has been living in Barcelona since 2022 and came to study a Master in Art Therapy. In 2024, through the twists and turns of life, she found out that illumINNATE was looking for a Chiropractic Assistant and her journey with chiropractic began there — not just by joining the team but also by experiencing health with a holistic approach, congruent with her values.

As a part of the chiropractic team, Angie is passionate about supporting each patient's journey from the moment they walk through our doors. With a background in yoga, movement, emotional health, and somatic nervous system awareness, Angie brings a holistic and compassionate approach to her work. She is dedicated to helping people feel seen, supported, and more connected to themselves — whether it's through mindful presence, a calming environment, or simply a warm welcome. Angie's goal is to help create a space where health can be optimized naturally, both physically and emotionally.
